Christopher Wicks was the original creator of all things English Laundry, born in Manchester England in his early years found solace sketching shirts and of all things guitars. Wicks’ obsession with fashion and music is evident in the unique and distinctive designs in the English Laundry/John Lennon sportswear collections.
BestGear released the English Laundry brand into New Zealand in 2005 and have built the brand into a mainstay and reliable performer amongst independent retailers and department stores across the country.
English Laundry is a cleaner design than the more flamboyant John Lennon Collection, offering more traditional plaids and stripes to the gentleman who wants a different shirt without being over the top, hidden trims, pearl buttons, taping through the front plackets are the features of the E.L. shirt.
